Description
A magnetometer survey was undertaken by CFA at Dellfield of Inshes in May 1998 in advance of a proposed retail park development at Dellfield, Inshes, Inverness. This was undertaken in addition to the excavation of a series of evaluation trenches (see EHG214). Two blocks of four 30m x 30m grids were laid out over the area. The survey revealed a number of anomalies which were interpreted as field drains and service pipes. No features of archaeological significance were identified. <1>
