Description

A walkover survey and inspection was carried out following severe flooding of the island that took place on the night of 4th-5th November 1999. The survey assessed the effect of this enormous volume of fast moving water on the island and its ancient monuments. The damage was documented and photographed and recommendations made for remedial action. <1>
