Description

A watching brief was conducted during ground breaking works for the construction of a house, garage and associated access. The removal of topsoil and subsoil to a maximum depth of 400mm was monitored across an area of about 488 square metres. A number of features were identified including a possible boundary wall and a small pit, both likely to be of 19th-century or later date. No further work was recommended. <1>
