Description

A watching brief was carried out by S Farrell in October 2002 in advance of a wind turbine development at Forss, by Dounreay. The location of a new access track and the location of the two turbines were included in this assessment. Whilst the topsoil and subsoil were removed the excavation was monitored for archaeological remains. No archaeological features or deposits were revealed. <1> The environmental impact assessment cultural heritage chapter was missing from the report and so only the introduction has been linked to this event. <2>
