EHG934 - Trial trenching - Cradlehall Business Park, Inverness

Technique(s)

Organisation

Headland Archaeology Ltd

Date

May 2003

Description

An archaeological field evaluation was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2003 at the site of the proposed Cradlehill Business Park, Inverness. Trial trenches were placed on the site of the first phase of development known as the West Site. Trenching did not uncover any traces of activity other than a large (presumed) modern soakaway feature. In the absence of any archaeological discoveries it was recommended that no further archaeological works be carried out on the West Site, though the remainder of the development area would require separate investigation. <1>
