Full Description

An unusually small circular hut circle within a small field system was found during field investigation on an undulating shelf on an east-facing slope. The outer face of contiguous slabs on edge contains a low bank of rubble spread to about 1m wide, the whole measuring overall 7m in diameter. No entrance can be seen. The cultivation comprises patches of cleared ground at the edge of which the stones have been dumped. A few scattered clearance heaps are visible and a ruined boulder wall skirts the north edge of the system.
Surveyed at 1:10,560. Visited by OS (J M) 10 March 1976.
