Full Description

NC91SW 18 9255 1252.
A stone-walled hut-circle was discovered during field investigation on an old river terrace. It measures 10.5m in diameter within an overgrown wall, 0.7m high and spread to 3m, which has an entrance in the east.
There is no sign of contemporary cultivation but the smooth appearance of the level area which extends about 100m ENE from the hut suggests early clearance.
Surveyed at 1:10,560. Visited by OS (J M) 14 January 1976.
