Full Description

On a natural shelf in the margin of an area of 18th - 19th century depopulation, is a hut circle, surviving as a platform 13.5m in diameter with some peripheral, turf-covered rubble in S half. There are tenuous indications of an entrance in SE. In N quarter of hut circle is turf-and-stone footing of a later bothy-type structure.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 4 September 1980.

A walkover survey was conducted over a parcel of ground proposed for afforestation, Auchinduich, Sutherland by Argyl Archaeology in 2013.

Site 10: Possible hut circle, set on level raised platform, low earthen bank. North side built over by later bank, possible structure 4 x 2 m, rectangular. <1>
