Full Description

A hut circle to the northeast of Lydsurach.

A poorly defined, circular hut platform measuring 10m in diameter, with a possible entrance gap in SE.There are no signs of contemporary cultivation.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (J M) 10 June 1975.

No change Visited by OS (J M) 8 September 1980.

Not obvious under heather. Area of GR is strong natural knoll (had telegraph poles placed on one end) possible circular hollow facing SW. - HAW 5/2004

The hut circle is visible in SEPA LiDAR data. <1>
