Full Description
On a terrace on SW-facing slope, hut circle within well-preserved field system. The hut measures c11m diameter within a wall, the rubble core of which is exposed, surviving to a maximum height of 0.6m, and spread to a width of 2-2.5m. To N of entrance, in SE arc is a line of boulders defining the outer wall face.
The field system comprises a number of lynchets and stone clearance heaps fringing cleared ground.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 25 September 1980.
The field-system has been destroyed by the ploughing and planting associated with afforestation.
