Full Description

NC96SW 11 9494 6397.

At NC 9494 6397, on a W-facing hillside, is a heather-covered hut circle, 9.0m in diameter, within a wall spread up to 2.5m and 0.5m high; the entrance is no longer discernible, but would have been from the now depleted WSW quarter. One of two facing stones are visible in the hut wall. Outside the hut to the SE a curving, stony bank, 13.0m long and 2.0m broad by 0.3m high, probably indicates an associated enclosure. Contemporary field clearance is evident in a group of about ten stony heaps on the slope SW of the hut, and in further occasional heaps to the NW and N.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 19 August 1981.
