Full Description
NH68NE 45 c. 67 89
There is a sluice gate with tank near Spinningdale House (Canmore 13847 with picture). This was part of the scheme where Mr Chance, the builder of Spinningdale House, tapped water from Loch Migdale to create a hydro scheme for the house. The tank is still there, as well as a lot of concrete foundations which relate to the scheme. Eunice Milne and Glenys Munro remember the hydro shed, a wooden structure on a concrete base. <1>
