NC 475 589. Group of buildings named Hope.
W Roy 1747-55.

NC 476 590. A minor deserted settlement comprising the footings of three buildings including a long-house, 41m by 4m, a corn-drying kiln and an enclosure.
Visited by OS (NKB) 5 October 1978.

A township, comprising two roofed buildings, two partially roofed buildings and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xv). Four unroofed, three roofed buildings and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1989).
