Full Description

At NC 7343 0770, in shelving ground on SW side of Creag Leac nam Fitheach, is a heather-covered hut circle, set into the slope, and measuring 10 by 9.5m within a wall spread to 2.0m and up to 0.4m high; the entrance is in the SSE, the line of the main axis. The E side of the entrance extends outwards to form a flanking wall or bank 3.5m long. There are a number of associated stone clearance heaps in the vicinity. Surveyed at 1:10,000.

This heather-covered hut-circle is levelled into the back of a terrace on the SW flank of Creag Leac nam Fitheach. The hut-circle (ROG95 22) measures 10.8m from NNW to SSE by 9.6m transversely within a stony bank spread to 2m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The terminal of the bank on the E side of the entrance, which is on the SSE, has been thickened. At least twenty small cairns (ROG95 894), measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height, lie along the ridge to the WNW of the hut-circle.
