A Bronze Palstave found here AD 1850 (NAT)
OS 6"map, Sutherland, 2nd ed., (1907)
A bronze palstave was found here in 1850. This implement somewhat resembles the ancient batle axe and is to be seen in the museum of Dunrobin Castle.
Name Book 1871.
