Full Description

On the SE slopes of Cnoc na Gaoithe is a cairnfield containing an unknown quantity of cairns (similar to NC73SW 8). No hut circles or other structures are distinguishable.
Information from MS, A Field Survey in the Loch Rimsdale Area, June 1975, site ref 5 (see archive).

This area of peat and heather-covered mounds extends for about six hectares. While some of the mounds are probably field clearance heaps, others appear more likely to be natural. No plots were noted.
Visited by OS (J B) 10 May 1977.
