Full Description
NC80NW 16 8141 0910.
NC 8130 0909 'A'. An ill-defined hut circle measuring between wall centres 12m E-W by 10.5m. Immediately to the N of the entrance in the E is an upright slab possibly a portal stone.
NC 8137 0912. Close by, to the NE of the hut, is another well preserved hut circle with an internal diameter of 7.5m. A few inner and outer facing stones are apparent around the periphery giving the wall a thickness of 2.0m; an entrance gap is in the SE.
There are no traces of contemporary agriculture in the immediate vicinity of the hut, but two small areas of field clearance heaps lie close by to the N and S.
Surveyed at 1:10 560. Visited by OS (J B) 4 November 1975.
