Full Description
In Dunrobin Museum is a food vessel found at Strathsteven in 1893 (Accession No 1893.2). The urn has two cordons otherwise it is undecorated. The circumstances of the find are not stated.
Visited by OS (N K B) 15 June 1976.
The food vessel has been restored. It is 6.1ins high, 5.5ins rim diameter, 3.1ins base diameter. (Old Cat. No B8)

The food vessel was not located during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. It could possibly have been one of the fragile pots located in the cupboards however. <1>
