Full Description
A polished flint axe found at Dunrobin is on display in Dunrobin Museum. (Accession no 1869.2)
Visited by OS (N K B) 15 June 1976; Information from Exhibition card, Dunrobin Museum.
The axe is 8.5ins long by 2.5ins maximum width.
(Undated) information from TS of Catalogue of Dunrobin Museum, by A S Henshall.
The axehead was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No. 1869.2. It is on display in case 29, shelf C. <1>
