There are numerous tumuli in the vicinity of Borve Castle (NC76SW 2).
H Morrison 1883.
No 'tumuli', probably field clearance heaps, were found in the vicinity of Borve Castle during field investigation. Morrison may be referring to NC76SW 13 - field systems.
