Full Description
At NC 7276 6123, on an undulating east-facing slope, is a denuded hut circle, overgrown with peat and heather, within an ill-preserved field system. The hut survives as a platform measuring overall 9.0m N-S by 7.5m. Few stones are exposed of the wall, and the entrance cannot be ascertained. Though the field system is poorly-defined due to a thick peat and heather cover, in places stone clearance heaps, 10m to 20m apart, and some lynchets can be seen; one measurable plot 20m by 15m can be identified.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 15 August 1978.
