Full Description

Centred NC 872 053 on a fairly steep SE-facing hillslope, is a settlement of 3 hut circles and an associated field system.
'A' Substantial, oval-shaped, set into the slope, 11.0m internal diameter with a bank 1.0m in height, and 4.0m wide and a club-like entrance on the SE. The entrance has an outer revetment wall.
'B' Similar to 'A' in dimensions, but slightly more mutilated with no apparent entrance.
'C' Scooped into the hillside, 10.0m in diameter, with no apparent entrance.
The field system, evidenced by stone clearance heaps, is small, and the fields are indistinct.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
