Full Description

At NC 7286 5464 on fairly level moorland is a hut circle and associated minor field system. The hut measures 11.5m N-S by 10m E-W within a peat-covered wall spread to 3.5m broad, and 0.8m maximum height. The simple entrance is in the south arc. The minor field system occupying about one hectare, comprises intermittent areas of cleared ground and about six scattered stone clearance heaps. No measurable cultivation plots are discernible.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 12 July 1977.
