Full Description

At NC 7123 5145 and NC 7120 5138, on south facing rising ground, are 2 hut circles (A and B respectively).
A, on a spur is reduced to a turf covered platform measuring 15m NW-SE by 13.5m; the wall is only distinguished in some stone on the south periphery. The entrance position was not identified An obscure footing occupies the south part of the interior.
B measures 9m internal diameter and has an entrance in SE quarter; the wall, much reduced and peat covered, is spread to 1.5m.
The only signs of associated land use are one or two field clearance heaps north of hut A.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 24 August 1977.
