Cairn (NR). OS 6"map, (1962)

A cairn, 18.0m E-W by 15.0m N-S and 2.0m high. In 1909 the RCAHMS (RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909) noted that it had been opened but no cist or chamber was exposed. The top part is now composed of small stones and the lower is heather-covered.

The cairn is now situated on a ride within an area of afforestation. It is generally as described above. Two probable kerb stones are visible on the E side.

This cairn could not be located amidst dense afforestation.
