Full Description

NC74SW 12 7038 4141.

At NC 7038 4141 on a natural shelf on a west facing hillside is a peat covered, ill preserved hut circle in association with a minor field system. The latter is denoted by eight or nine field clearance heaps, and some random stone clearance on the steep approach from the west. The hut is 8.5m north-south by 7m internally; the wall in the east half remains a low 1.5m wide spread but elsewhere is obscure. The entrance is no longer evident.
Surveyed at 1:10000. Visited by OS (J M) 23 May 1977.
