Tumuli (NR) OS 6"map, Sutherland, 1st ed., (1873)
Small cairns of stones raised over the dead of a battle with Danish invaders.
Name Book 1873.
Field clearance heaps and an old turf field bank. No hut circles are visible. The cleared area measures approximately 300m. NW-SE by 100m and lies on flat moorland.
