At NC 7477 0910 and NC 7490 0899, on a SE-facing slope are two hut circles (A and B respectively). Hut 'A', set back into the slope, measures 18.0m NW-SE by 17.0m overall; the wall is mainly evident in intermittent outer facing blocks. The position of the entrance cannot be determined. Hut 'B', on a spur, measures 8m in diameter within a wall displaying an inner face of boulders on edge up to 0.6m high, but with little core material visible. Part of the outer face is visible in the SE arc indicating a thickness at this point of 1.3m. The position of the entrance is uncertain; it may have been in the ENE or partially blocked in the SE arc.
There are some scattered stone clearance heaps along a natural shelf to the west of hut'A'.
Surveyed at 1:10 000. Visited by OS (N K B) 17 June 1981.
