Full Description
A possible quarry site for flat slabby stones. Defined by numbers of large stones propped up on smaller ones. One fragment remains in position with signs of wedging and breaking from "quarry" face. Beside it, another fragment separated from the bedrock lies propped on a smaller stone. <1>
GIS spatial data amended in 2024 according to location as seen on 2009 vertical aerial photographs and information received from D Kennedy, who also submitted photographs of the site. <2> <3>
