NC23SE 5 295 331.
NC 295 332. Three oval foundations, one of rubble 10.5m by 4.7m, another 6.5m by 3m and the third 3m in diameter lie just below the 100' contour on the north bank of the river.

NC 295 331. In pasture bounded by a bank on the N side of a river are the earth and stone footings of three shieling bothies, dimensions from 3m by 2m to 4m by 3m, and remains of a walled enclosure 6.5m by 4m. Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (JM) 13 August 1980.
Location moved to more accurately relect text description as being on the N bank of the river. The footings of the buildings are marked on modern OS maps, annotated 'Old Shielings'. <2>
