Full Description

NC82NE 49 8888 2545.

There are two adjacent oval hut-circles to NE of the public road and Suisgill Broch (NC82NE 12). There is a scatter of small cairns measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.3m in height to the NW of the hut-circles.

A. NC 8889 2546 This hut-circle measures 9.3m from NNW to SSE by 8.2m transversely within a bank 2.6m in thickness and 0.6m in height. The entrance is on the SSE and the reduced state of the SW side may suggest that hut-circle 'B' is later, although the relationship is not clear. (KILD91 405)

B. NC 8888 2545 This hut-circle measures 10.3m from NNW to SSE by 8.2m transversely within a bank 3m in thickness and up to 1m in height. The NE side of the interior has been levelled to a depth of 1m into the slope.
