Full Description
NC61SW 17 6048 1247.
The site was Scheduled by Historic Scotland in 1991. Situated 1550m NW of Meall Meadhonach is a well preserved sheepfold with associated enclosures. The low drystone wall of the sheepfold is overgrown with turf and heather, encloses an area about 16m in diameter and has an E entrance. Walls run off from the sheepfold to the S and N and may form small subsidiary sheepfolds, lambing pens or shepherds' huts.

Following reassessment, the site was considered to not meet the Scheduling criteria and was de-scheduled by Historic Environment Scotland with effect from 14/01/2025. <3>
