Full Description
NH79SW 10 725 935.
Centred on NH 725 935 is a settlement of seven hut circles (A-G) within a contemporary field system marked by numerous stone clearance heaps and some lynchets.
All diameters are given between wall centres.
'A' is 10.5m in diameter. The SE arc is ill-defined and no entrance is evident.
'B' is ill-defined and 7.5m SE-NW by 6.0m with SE entrance.
'C' the best preserved is 9.3m in diameter with the wall spread to 3.0m. The entrance in the ESE is flanked on its S side by a stone on edge.
'D' is 7.5m in diameter. Entrance in ESE.
'E' is 8.5m in diameter. Entrance not evident.
'F' and 'G', set well into the slope, are both oval measuring respectively 10.0m ESE-WNW by 8.0m and 9.5m E-W by 7.5m. Each has an entrance in the E arc.
