Tumuli: Applies to two spots of tumuli situated about 10 chains W of the cairn described on NH79NE 2; they are not prominent and are composed chiefly of earth.
Name Book 1873.
These mounds appear to be the result of field clearance.
Visited by OS (R D L) 11 April 1964.
These clearance heaps are associated with depopulation a short distance to the NW.
