OS 6"map, Sutherlandshire, 2nd ed., (1908)

A group of seven or eight mounds, the largest of which measures 23 x 21ft.
RCAHMS 1911.

Field clearance heaps.
Visited by OS (W D J) 28 June 1963.

In this area of heather surrounded by cultivation or formerly cultivated land, are about a dozen stone clearance heaps within smooth, stone-free ground. Their appearance and disposition indicate the type normally associated with hut circles. Presumably this minor field system covered a larger area but is destroyed.
Visited by OS (N K B) 12 August 1976.
