A stony hillock, almost circular, measuring 11.5m N-S by 11m by 1.5m high. It appears to be a cairn, although there is no definite evidence of kerbing. At the centre of the flat top there is a thin slab 0.9m long set on edge and oriented NE-SW.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909; Visited by OS (E G C) 1 July 1963.

This is undoubtedly a cairn as described above, except that three or four stones forming an arc at the NE periphery are of a retaining kerb indicating a diameter of 11.0m.
Visited by OS (J M) 10 August 1976.
