Full Description

NC25SW 3 2283 5028 and 2291 5045.

At NC 2283 5028 and NC 2291 5045, along the bottom slopes of a SE-facing hillside, are two hut circles (A and B) accompanied by a minor field system. Both huts are set back into the slope, and both are heavily peat-silted.
'A', on a low spur, is approximately 7.5m in diameter within a wall reduced to a rubble spread, at most pronounced 2.5m broad and 0.3m high; the entrance is in the SE quarter.
'B' survives only as a platform some 10.0m by 9.0m across. The minor field system comprises heaps of stone clearance spaced from 10.0m to 20.0m apart; no plots are discernible.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 8 June 1980.
