Full Description

NC50SE 44 5871 0197.

At NC 5871 0197, on a gentle SW-facing hillslope in moorland, is a solitary stone-walled hut circle. It measures 8.5m N-S by 7.0m E-W within a denuded wall of indeterminate width, obscured by peat. The simple entrance is in the south arc in the longer axis. To the SW of the hut, a spur of land has been cleared of stones and cultivated; five, possibly six clearance heaps can be identified, but no distinct plots. Surveyed at 1:10 000.
