Full Description

Situated on a prominent ridge, immediately NW of the stone rows in a hollow (see ND06NW 8), are two denuded heather-covered cairns, not hut circles. They are circular, 8m in diameter and 0.2m high, each with a distinct central depression. The content is not exposed.

At ND 0111 6599 and ND 0113 6599 there are two heather-covered circular constructions, 5 and 3m in diameter respectively, and 0.2m high, which have the appearance of hut circles.
Survyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (N K B) 20 November 1964.

There are two small possible hut circles or mounds to W of stone rows described on ND06NW 8.
