Full Description
A stone cup, handle shaped for thumb and finger but not pierced, with an incised line 0.5" below the lip, which was found in a wood on the E side of Loch Assynt, was owned by a cottager called Easton at Inchnadamph in 1947.

The site where this cup was found, at NC 1928 2625, was indicated by Mr MacRae (J MacRae, Inver Park, Lochinver) who was present at the time of the find. The cup was found during the excavation of a gravel pit which has now been practically obliterated by the construction of the present road.
