Full Description
NC13SW 7 1001 3363.
According to Mr D Kerr (D Kerr, Clashnessie) a dun was removed from rocky island at NC10013363 to help build Oldney Lodge. The island is isolated except at spring low water. All that survives on grassy top of island are two small patches of rubble indicating former presence of a structure of uncertain nature. Whatever it was it can scarcely have measured more than about 8m by 5m.
Visited by OS (J M) 14 August 1974.
