A group of mounds of the ordinary type.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.

These appear to be turf-covered field clearance heaps.
Visited by OS (W D J) 28 June 1963.

An area of scattered field clearance heaps, centered on NC 602 067, extending over about two and a half hectares. No cultivation plots or hut circles are evident.
Visited by OS (J B) 7 October 1980.
