Full Description

At 674 384 on a SE-facing slope is a settlement of three hut circles (A-C). Hut 'A' is the most substantial measuring 11.5m NW-SE by 10.5m within a low turf-covered wall spread to 2m wide. The entrance is in SE arc. Huts 'B' and 'C' are similar, surviving as level platforms set against the slope. They are approximately 6.5m internal diameter within wasted walls of indeterminate width, though in 'C' two or three inner facing slabs are exposed. The entrance to 'C' appears to have been in the ENE arc. but its position in hut 'B' is uncertain.
The only evidence of associated cultivation is some heaps and rickles of stone cleared off the flat ground at the base of the slope; no cultivation plots can be identified.
Surveyed at 1:10 000. Visited by OS (N K B) 13 May 1977.
