Full Description

NC64SW 3 6176 4021.

Centred at NC 6176 4021, at the SW end of a long, low ridge, is a hut circle surrounded by a minor field system. The hut, obscured by peat and heather, measures 7.0m SSW-NNE by 5.0m within a wall spread to 3.5m widening to 4.5m at the entrance in the SSW. The minor field system covers about a hectare, and is marked by clearance heaps 10.0m to 30.0m apart.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J B) 14 August 1978.
