Full Description

NC63SE 12 6621 3311.

At NC 6621 3311, in a south-west facing hillside, is a hut circle in association with a minor field system. The latter is about two hectares in area and is denoted in heaps of stone clearance spaced at closest, in the region of the hut, 15.0 - 20.0m apart; there are no measurable cultivation plots. The hut is set into the slope and is 11.5 by 10.5m inside a peat-silted wall standing 0.3m high and having a main spread 2.0m broad increasing to 2.5m in the sides of an entrance in the SSE, this on the line of the longer axis.
Surveyed at 1:10,560 and 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 10 May 1977.
