OS 6"map, (1963)

The remains of four hut circles or enclosures (A-D) discovered during field investigation on a SW-facing slope. They consist of turf or turf and stone banks, 6m-10.5m internal diameter, 2m broad and 0.2m to 0.5m high, with entrances in the south. The east side of one of the enclosures (D) has been completely destroyed. Traces of two small, oval foundations 5m by 3m and 4m by 2m lie 24m to the SW and south respectively, but are too indefinite for survey.
Visited by OS (E G C) 13 May 1961.

This is a settlement of four hut circles (A-D), now severely mutilated by forestry ploughing. Only hut 'A' is planted with trees, the others are in a clearing. A number of contemporary clearance heaps occur in the vicinity, but the pattern of cultivation is destroyed by the ploughing.
Revised at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (E G C) 13 May 1961.
