(NC 6063 3431) Unannotated circle.
OS 6"map, (1963)

The remains of a hut circle, situated on a small spur amongst an enclosed shieling settlement (NC63SW 3). It measures about 10.5m in diameter within a wall with intermittent inner facing slabs backed by rubble; the wall has been about 1.4m wide. The N arc has been destroyed, with clear evidence of run-rig lines entering the hut from this quarter. No certain entrance is apparent, although a lowering and narrowing of the wall in the S may indicate its position. The ground around the hut is marked with run-rig; there are no signs of earlier cultivation.
Visited by OS (J B) 24 March 1977.
