Full Description

NC63SW 4 6053 3486.

At NC 6053 3486 on a relatively level stretch of hillside and adjacent to the rocky outcrop of Dun Creagach (NC63SW 7) is a small, heather-covered hut circle. It measures 9.0m in diameter within a low wall spread to 1.7m. Inner facing stones are visible either side of the entrance in the E. There is no evidence of contemporary cultivation in the vicinity.

There is nothing visible at the published location on available aerial photographs. However, 89m to the west-northwest is circular feature which fits both the given location description and approximate dimensions. GIS spatial data amended to this location [IS-L 31/01/2024]. <1>
