Full Description
NC60SW 15 630 048.
A minor deserted settlement comprising a longhouse footing 25m by 4m and another rectangular footing 9.5m by 3m. Adjacent are contemporary field walls and formerly cultivated ground, and a later stock enclosure and field walls.
Visited by OS 6 October 1980.
A farmstead comprising an unroofed building and an unroofed structure, and some field and boundary walls are depicted on 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet ciii). Two unroofed buildings, an unroofed structure and field and boundary walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1971).
