Full Description

NC51NW 9 5174 1721.
On a SW-facing slope is a hut circle, 10.5m SE-NW by 8m within a turf-covered wall spread to 2.5m; this wall is very slight in the SW quadrant where the platform has been built into the hill. The entrance is in the SE.
A small number of clearance heaps to the NW are the only sign of contemporary cultivation in the area. One of the heaps is unusually large being sub-rectangular in shape and measuring about 9m x 4m. Surveyed at 1:10 000. Visited by OS (JB) 23 August 1976

This hut-circle is located on a gentle SW-facing slope. It measures 8.5m NNW to SSE internally by 7m transversely. A number of facing stones are visible, particularly on the NNW where inner and outer stones define a wall reduced to a bank 1.4m thick. The entrance is in the SE.
About 6m S of the hut-circle are the remains of a stone-footed rectangular structure measuring 4.1m NE to SW by 3.6m transversely. An entrance is visible in the middle of the NE wall. A scatter of stone clearance heaps are visible to the NE of the hut-circle.
